Participation in SubOptic2004 Dokai Marine Systems Ltd. exhibited at SubOptic2004, the world's largest international convention for the subsea telecommunications industry, which took place from March 29 to April 1, 2004, at Monaco. Dokai gave poster presentations at the conference.

Dokai has launched a new team devoted to ROV operation service using Koushin Maru, now equipped with ST209. The service includes burial of submarine cable and pipeline, seafloor exploration and surveying, underwater support service to submarine operation, and recovering objects from seafloor and installation of subsea structure.

Mirai is currently in service at Nagasaki port and she will move and stay at Hibiki Container Terminal upon the terminal's completion.
