Since our founding in 1948, Dokai Marine Systems has expanded our harbor tug and offshore operations in line with the needs of local communities and our valued customers. Building on our technical expertise and accumulated knowledge, we will continue to evolve our business in a socially responsible manner.

- Established Dokai Tugboat Co., Ltd
- 1967
- Ichiro Imada appointed as President
- 1971
- Merged with Hoyou Senpaku Co., Ltd; capital increased to JPY 30 million
- 1973
- Opened Hakata Office
- 1975
- Opened Nagasaki Office
- 1987
- Opened Tokyo Head Office

- Tugboat “Choyo Maru” went into service
- 1996
- Tamihiro Imada appointed as President
- 1996
- Special work vessel “Asean Maru” went into service

- Tugboat “Tobiume Maru” went into service

- Capital increased to JPY 34.12 million

- Renamed the company to Dokai Marine Systems Ltd

- Subsea cable installation vessel “Koki Maru” went into service

- Special work vessel “Koshin Maru” (built in 1998) converted into a subsea cable installation vessel and went into service
